been forgiven, the potential for being unforgiven has been done

boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt
say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed
in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou
standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared
not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which
fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, IF thou continue
in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. And
they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed
in: for God is able to graff them in again.
John 2:24-25: Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have
heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the
beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue
in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that
he hath promised us, even eternal life.
Timothy 1:19-20: Holding faith, and a good conscience; which
some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: Of
whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto
Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
so, sometimes out of ignorance or whatever it might be, they
attempt to gratify and meet those needs the same way they did
before they were saved, and therefore, you can't tell a carnal
believer from a lost man. That is, you can't tell the cold from
the carnal because the truth is, they're both acting the same
way. Now, one of them is in Christ and one of them isn't. One
of them is lost and the other one is in Christ. One of them
knows about God and knows him in the experience of salvation;

law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that
he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth
hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no
man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous,
even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil;
for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the
Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of
the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he
is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest,
and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness
is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
2:10-26: For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet
offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said,

faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified
by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was

saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for
righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see
then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith
only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by
works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them
out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead,
so faith without works is dead also.
2:3-11: 3: And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them
which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape
the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness
and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness
of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and
impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the
day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them
who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and
honour and immortality, (to them He will give) eternal
life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the
truth, but obey unrighteousness, (to them He will give)
indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every
soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the
Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh
good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is
no respect of persons with God.
24:45-51: Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his
lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in
due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh
shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make
him ruler over all his goods. But and if that evil servant shall
say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall
begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with
the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when
he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware
of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with
the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
is this place represented by the 'outer darkness' in Jesus'
parables? To be in the 'outer darkness' is to be in the kingdom
of God but outside the circle of men and women whose faithfulness
on this earth earned them a special rank or position of authority.
The 'outer darkness' represents not so much an actual place
as it does a sphere of influence and privilege"(Eternal

'gnashing of teeth' ... does not symbolize pain as many have
thought. . . . They were extremely frustrated with themselves
.... And so it will be for many believers. Just as those who
are found faithful will rejoice, so those who suffer loss will
weep. As some are celebrated for their faithfulness, others
will gnash their teeth in frustration over their own shortsightedness
and greed. We do not know how long this time of rejoicing and
sorrow will last. Those whose works are burned will not weep
and gnash their teeth for eternity."(Eternal Security:

13:40-43: As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in
the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of
man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out
of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing
and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth
as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to
hear, let him hear.
13:49-50: So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels
shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall
be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
13:27-28: But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence
ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. There
shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall
see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in
the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
you and I may resort to looking and acting like we used to behave
before we were saved, but just because we behave that way doesn't
mean we have lost our salvation....But let's look at the Prodigal
Son for just a moment.... So, here he is living in sin and his
lifestyle is such that's absolutely wicked....Let me tell you
something. When you are born again by the grace of Almighty
God, and you become a child of God, you are born again. You
become a new creation in Christ. You are adopted into the family
of God. It doesn't make any difference how wicked and how vile
you act....You never get away with sin. But it doesn't mean
because you sin against God, God rejects you for your disobedience
because in this story, God is pictured as running toward a backsliding
son who came home to his father." (Eternal Security

5:19-20: Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and
one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the
sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death,
and shall hide a multitude of sins.
Peter 2:19-21: While they promise them liberty, they themselves
are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome,
of the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have
escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of
the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled
therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than
the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known
the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to
turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
6:7-9: Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a
man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to
his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth
to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we
shall reap, IF we faint not.
8:12-13: Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to
the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after
the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify
the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Corinthians 6:9-11: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall
not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators,
nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of
themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards,
nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of
God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed,
but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the
Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
5:19-21: Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are
these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry,
witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions,
heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such
like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you
in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit
the kingdom of GodÖ. And they that are Christ's have
crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

5:3-7: But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness,
let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which
are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye
know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous
man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom
of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words:
for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the
children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with
Corinthians 7:1: Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved,
let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh
and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
3: 20-21: Again, when a righteous man doth turn from his
righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock
before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him
warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which
he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will
I require at thine hand. Nevertheless, if thou warn the righteous
man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall
surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered
33:12-13: Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children
of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not
deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the
wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day
that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous
be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.
When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live;
if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity,
all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his
iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
22:15: Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they
may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the
gates into the city. For without are dogs, sorcerers, and whoremongers,
and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh
